This lotion has been tested on many fabrics by many crafters with out any problems*. I love working with wool, however, sometimes it would leave my hands dry (same with dyeing/cooking). I had some commercially available crafter's lotion but I didn't care for the scent. I came across this lotion and fell in love! There's no greasy feeling left behind, but a nice powdery feel. I have knitted immediately after applying (actually, I saturated my hands with it and immediately started knitting, with out any adverse effects). It's been tested with great results.
